Save Our Sirius with New York based World Monuments Fund are celebrating Sirius Watch Day on Saturday 9th March 2019. Everyone is welcome to Sirius Watch Day, 1-4pm at the Abraham Mott Hall in Millers Point. The day will include;
Exhibition
We will be showcasing the amazing work that the Sirius Building has inspired – from students, artists, and filmmakers based in Sydney.
NIDA Model of Sirius
The exhibition includes a 1.2m x 1.2m model of Sirus created by NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art) students with intricate interior details of the Phillip Room, and Myra’s apartment.
Group Artwork
Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a Sirius group artwork by completing the sentence: Sirius is… and making a collage in the shape of Sirius.
Picnic and Live Music
Sirius Merch
We’ll also have stalls with some Sirius-ly amazing merch – t-shirts, pins, bags, magnets and more.
