Architects Disappointed In Sirius Decision

Today, the Australian Institute of Architects have reaffirmed their support for the recommendation made by the Heritage Council to list Sirius on the NSW Heritage Register by issuing the below press release.

“What is particularly disappointing here is that the Government has ignored the advise of the very experts they have appointed to give them independent advice” – Andrew Nimmo, NSW Chapter President, Australian Institute of Architects

The Australian Institute of Architects is the peak body for the architectural profession, representing almost 11,000 members across Australia and overseas. The Institute actively works to improve the quality of our built environment by promoting quality, responsible and sustainable design.
